Punok – Protective equipment – Shin-Step protection

These gloves are World Karate Federation approved. This protection is of compulsory use and prevents injuries that may be caused to the rival due to techniques applied without control. Its interior, made of rubber. These gloves feature one elastic strap over the palm, two straps over the fingers, adjustable elastic wrist wrap with hook-and-loop closures. This protection adapts to each shape and it has a specific density and dimensions to ensure its correct use as well as to avoid interfering with the competitor´s movements.

Shin guards are produced from a special single piece of sponge, according to WKF standards and with the lower and upper skin covered with artificial leather in the same color, so that they can be distinguished separately for the right and left shin bones. The shin guards are covered with 4 cm velcro and artificial leather on the upper and lower sides. It is ensured that it fits perfectly on the leg with elastic in the same color as the leather and 2.5 cm elastic on the back. Velcro is used at the bottom of the shin protector to connect it to the foot protector.

The SMAI WKF Gloves have been manufactured to exact World Karate Federation specifications. They have been approved for use in official continental tournaments and international WKF Sanctioned events without restriction.
