SIA ‘BBK AUTO’ (registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Latvia, registration number 40003924244, legal address: Rīga, Ilūkstes iela 103 k-3 – 29, LV-1082) (hereinafter referred to as ‘BBK AUTO’) is the Controller, ensuring compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Union on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ or ‘GDPR’) in Latvia. This Privacy Policy sets out how ‘BBK AUTO’ processes personal data when using our services. This policy applies to all types of personal data processing that SIA ‘BBK AUTO’ collects from websites, email lists, contracts, and other sources.
Purposes of Data Processing DATA is processed for the purpose of administering mutual relations with service recipients related to the services provided by the COMPANY, issuing invoices, providing service reservations and payments, as well as security reservations to realize the COMPANY’s legitimate interests while respecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual (data subject). If the COMPANY wishes/has a justified need to process DATA for other purposes, the data subject’s consent for such data processing will be requested in advance.
Access to Data and Data Storage DATA is recorded in service contracts. DATA is recorded in the COMPANY’s accounting software and service administration programs. DATA is protected against unauthorized access, and its use is monitored in accordance with regulatory requirements. Access to programs and thus to DATA is only for those COMPANY employees who need it for the performance of their job duties and the proper provision of services. Access to the programs is protected by secure passwords. DATA will not be sent outside the European Union/European Economic Area (EU/EEA) unless it is necessary for technical data protection.
Disclosure of Data The COMPANY is entitled to disclose DATA to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and supervisory authorities based on a lawful and motivated request from the authority or official.
Retention Period for Data DATA will be stored in accordance with the term of the service contract. After the termination of the contract, the DATA will still be stored for a period to comply with regulatory requirements.
Rights of the Data Subject Individuals have the right to verify DATA related to them that is in the possession of the COMPANY, request corrections, deletion, or supplementation of incorrectly specified data, and prohibit the use of their data for purposes not related to the provision of the COMPANY’s services.
