Kihon – Protective Equipment – Instep protector

This shin-step protection protects the tibia from impacts which may occur during the course of the bout. The inner component is made of rubber and has a specific density and dimensions to ensure its correct use as well as to avoid interfering with the competitor´s movements.

These gloves are World Karate Federation approved. This protection is of compulsory use and prevents injuries that may be caused to the rival due to techniques applied without control. Its interior, made of rubber. These gloves feature one elastic strap over the palm, two straps over the fingers, adjustable elastic wrist wrap with hook-and-loop closures. Karate body protector is made of 15 mm EVA sponge and the front and back parts are made of white artificial leather. For the athlete’s comfortable use, the front is made of 5 pieces and the sides are made of 3 pieces.
